The two had asked for the appointment of a temporary judge to bifurcate their marital status. In other words, both parties wanted to speed up the divorce proceedings by agreeing to work out details pertaining to assets at a later date.
The former "Newlyweds" officially announced they were calling it quits last November, with Jessica filing for divorce on December 16
