Computer Scientist, Missing Can Google Earth Help?

Jim Gray a computer scientist, who helped develop the Google Earth has been missing since Sunday after a sailing trip. He sailed just scatter the ashes of his 97 year-old mother and was planned to return last Sunday. Hopefully before this terrible accident occurred Mr. Gray updated his Google Earth so it could be a help for the search and rescue just in case.
