We all love camping! Except those people who hates enjoyment. But, camping or hiking in the wilderness has been always accompanied by danger. When things go wrong you should know what to do! The first aspect with surviving in the wilderness is to figure out where you are. You may be thinking that this is impossible but it isn't really that hard. Just think about where you were headed and how you ended up in the wilderness. You may not know exactly where you are, but a general idea is better than nothing. The next step should be to figure out just what supplies you have with you. You should try to take everything you need and only what is essential to your survival. If it doesn't help you get out alive then it's worthless at this point.
Your next step should be to think of your destination and where you need to go. Try to remember any important landmarks that you could have seen on your way in. If you know the ocean is to the west then you should follow the sun west and follow the ocean to a town. The ocean is a great place to follow because of the increased likelihood of finding food or rescue. The next step you should take is to start your journey. Whenever you find water you should fill up your containers and carry what you can. You can survive longer without food than without water.
