Planet Upsilon Andromeda B

Upsilon Andromeda B is the planet they call Half Fire, Half Ice. The side of the planet facing the star is as hot as lava, while the other side is as cold as ice. Upsilon Andromeda b was discovered in 1996. Upsilon Andromeda b is a giant gas planet that orbits extremely close to Upsilon Andromeda, a star 40 light-years from our solar system in the constellation Andromeda. It is also known as the "hot-Jupiter," a gas giant circles its star in a very tight orbit.
