Internet Poker has been partly responsible for a dramatic increase in the number of poker players worldwide. Poker is a card game, the most popular of a class of games called vying games, in which players with fully or partially concealed cards make wagers into a central pot, which is awarded to the player or players with the best combination of cards or to the player who makes an uncalled bet. It's a great game for everyone, and you don't have to be an expert to play it. There are different types of poker rules. You can also play poker in a number of different ways. You can either play 1-on-1 poker games, multi-player poker games or compete in poker tournaments. Poker is played with a standard pack of 52 cards. (Some variant games use multiple packs or add a few cards called jokers.) The cards are ranked Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, Ace. There are four suits the spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs; however, no suit is higher than another. All poker hands contain five cards, the highest hand wins. Hands are ranked as follows Five of a Kind, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, and Pair High Card.
