Biofuels to save Philippines from debt

THE Philippines can save at least $200 million a year when a biofuels law is implemented. This new law will require production and use of gasoline with five-percent ethanol. At this blend, it will render unnecessary imports of 255 million liters of gasoline a year. Increasing the ethanol blend to 10 percent would displace 565 million liters of gasoline imports annually, which will lead to a foreign exchange saving of $386 million by the fourth year of the law’s implementation.

By the way a new biofuel from fish was invented by a high school student from Marikina. It's a janitor fish by the way.
